Biocom has launched a new program to accelerate career development for young professionals in the biotech and life science industries. The Life Science Young Leaders Series (LSYL) provides individuals in life science between the ages of 21 and 39, the opportunity to network with like-minded peers and grow both professionally and personally.

This new series will feature 2 high impact networking events and 1-2 educational events per year. The goal of this program is to foster valuable conversations, build relationships between life science young professionals, and retain top talent in California for the next wave of leadership.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, June 15 for our first ever kick-off Sip & Socialize networking event of the year at the Karl Strauss Tasting Room on Santa Fe, just outside of Pacific Beach. The Karl Strauss Tasting Room is the only place guests can try 20+ Karl Strauss beers on tap at one location, including limited batches and small batch beers. Don’t miss out on sampling a selection of these famous beers!

Dinner will be hosted by Pacific Pizza—an Italian made, wood-fired pizza cooked on an oven mounted to a vintage 1955 Ford pickup bed. Watch as the dough is tossed in the air and fresh ingredients are added directly on-site. Network with other young professionals within the life science industry over pizza and beer. Then, get your game face on for Jenga competitions and our favorite lawn game, corn hole.
