The biggest bioengineering event of the year is here! For the eleventh year running, Bioengineering Day will serve as the premier forum for UC San Diego’s Bioengineering Department to showcase the success of its students and faculty while forming connections with industry. Everyone – students, faculty, alumni, and members of industry – are an integral part of making this event fantastic year after year, and this year is no exception. We have integrated into the event a variety of academic and industry speakers, technology demonstrations from industry, and 40+ poster presentations from graduates and undergraduates.

We are excited to say that this year’s theme is diversity. Come join us for our diversity panel, where we will be analyzing the state of diveristy in the bioengineering ecosystem with perspectives from undergraduates, graduate students, professors, and industry members.

Bioengineering Day 2017 is a collaboration between three UC San Diego student organizations – the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), and Bioengineering Graduate Society (BEGS) – as well as the Bioengineering Department.
