Battle of the Ages: Vaccine Scientists vs. HIV and Influenza

Some viruses have evaded all efforts to create an effective vaccine. As scientists discovered how HIV, influenza virus and others undermine the immune system, they learned how to turn the fight around. Dr. Shane Crotty will discuss the latest research into a universal influenza vaccine and how his own research has helped shape the most promising HIV vaccine advances to date.
